Makers is a hands-on engineering and design enrichment program where students take on creative challenges that encourage problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation. Through engaging, project-based activities, students explore engineering concepts while designing, building, testing, and refining their own solutions using a variety of materials.
Guided by experienced instructors, students learn to approach challenges using design-thinking strategies while developing critical thinking, creativity, and communication. Every challenge encourages students to think beyond the first solution, test their ideas, and make improvements along the way.
Whether they're designing a marble run, building a cantilever, or competing in a creative engineering challenge, Makers gives students the opportunity to turn ideas into solutions while building confidence and discovering the innovative Maker in every student.
Classroom Policy: For the safety of all participants and to minimize distractions, only registered students and one accompanying adult (if desired) may be present during instruction. Siblings, friends, and other non-participating children are not permitted in the classroom.

Cancellation Policy:
If your child can no longer attend class, we ask that you provide us with 24 hours advance notice for a full refund. If, for any reason, you are unable to provide 24 hours notice, we are happy to credit you the amount paid to attend a future class.
If a class has fewer than 7 students registered, we will unfortunately have to cancel that class. Our process for class cancellation will be to reach out to inform you that the class has low enrollment 5 days prior. If we do not meet the minimum one day prior, we will call to inform you. At that time, you will have 1 of 3 options:
You will be offered a spot in either the morning or afternoon class (if the other session has enough enrollment)
You can receive a credit for a future class
You can receive a full refund
