Plastic Bluetooth Speaker

Level: Advanced

Advanced projects can typically be completed with 2-5 tools. Assembly can be completed in 60-90 minutes. We recommend this project for students ages 12+.

Objective: Build a bluetooth speaker

Students will use basic electrical 12V skills to build a bluetooth speaker. Students will have an opportunity to get creative and decorate their bluetooth speaker with stickers, making them a perfect gift or bedroom decoration.

Instructors then have an opportunity to reinforce learnings by prompting questions such as:

• What is bluetooth?

• What did you learn about building a speaker?

• What will you listen to on your bluetooth speaker?

Supplies & Materials

The following supplies & materials are included with this project:

• Plastic speaker casing

• 2 speakers

• Bag of hardware and wires (nuts, screws, bluetooth board, etc.)

• Bag of polyfill stuffing

Stickers to decorate and a toolset are not included but can be provided upon request. All required tools for assembly are included in our standard toolset.
